Roland Gutierrez, MD, FAAP, FMAPS brings not only board-certified pediatric expertise but also a passion for functional medicine, investigating the root causes of chronic conditions and prioritizing the holistic well-being of every child. Lee Torres is dedicated to ensuring every family’s experience reflects our values of transparency, accessibility, and partnership. Gladys Buenaflor supports both clinical and administrative functions, ensuring that communication is clear and responsive. Our team’s collective experience allows us to serve newborns, children, and adolescents with a high level of personalized attention, whether at our Winter Park office or through convenient home visits within a 24-mile radius. We also work closely with local midwives, integrating care for families who prioritize natural and integrative health approaches. By maintaining a small patient panel, our team is able to focus on meaningful, long-term relationships that support each child’s optimal development.

Roland F. Gutierrez

MD, FAAP, FMAPS

Board-Certified Pediatrician, Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Medical Academy of Pediatrics and Special Needs, former Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at MCP-Hahnemann University in Philadelphia and recipient of the Arthur Ashe Voice of Conscience award, has over 30 years’ experience in the field of pediatrics. He has trained and worked in the suburbs and large metropolitan areas of Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia & West Palm Beach. Along with his vast experience in western medicine, he also incorporates integrative/functional wellness to promote optimum health options for patients; and supports and guides parents in making the best choices for their child. He promotes Mind, Body and Spirit health & wellness tools and is a resource for families to have access to various modalities. Dr. Gutierrez is also very involved in his community and is an active member of Orlando Touch Rugby as well as well as Winter Park Tennis. He encourages families to stay active and eat healthy through his own example of lifestyle choices. He educates, encourages and empowers families to embrace wellness in the most enjoyable way.

Operations Manager

Lee Torres is the Operations Manager and handles the logistics of the office which include daily organizational. taks, Meet & Greets for potential new members, Billing questions and scheduling inquiries. She is a graduate of Temple University and has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She also worked for a time as Birth & Postpartum Doula and helped to provide educational materials for expectant and parents of newborns.

Virtual Assistant

Gladys Rose Buenaflor is a registered nurse and a nursing graduate of San Pablo Colleges, College of Nursing in the Philippines, with licenses to practice in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. She is also a certified healthcare virtual assistant. Since 2008, she has maintained her nursing license in the Philippines and brings 14 years of hospital experience. This includes almost 9 years at a JCI-accredited hospital in Dubai, where she provided high-quality care to a diverse, multinational patient population. Gladys is proficient in patient assessment, medication administration, and care plan implementation. She is also skilled in communication and teamwork, with a demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate care to patients.
